This is a music video compiled of imagery from the movie Shadow Beings. The music by Guthrie Lowe was at first going to be played during the ending credits, however the original musician finished on time and a different song was used for the ending credits. Instead of letting the music go to waste I created this video as a promotional tool.

This is an assembly from the several runs through the haunt. Since the edit was for the flow, the guests may change from shot to shot.

Something I put together for a local musician to help promote his work. Yes, it could be better, but this was a freebie. Perhaps latter I will polish it. I mostly wanted an excuse to generate a "light at the end of the tunnel" effect and an animated Mandala. You know, playing around with After Effects.

An experimental video I shot while on a bike ride on Elm Street in Woodland, CA. It's an excercise to create the time ambiguities and atmospheric quality of a dream.

Basically just the editing of a behind the scenes documentary.

This is an assembly from the several runs through the haunt. Since the edit was for the flow, the guests may change from shot to shot. I created a montage intro and added special effects including an amorphous ghost climbing over a tombstone.

This is a music video edited from footage shot at my sister's block party on Labor Day of 2005. A fun exercise.

The raw footage was shot on Halloween 2007 as a team of paranormal investigators work on channeling the spirits in a house with a history of violence. I was given approximately 45 minutes from the several hours they taped that evening. I was to edit it down to a 3 minute clip which was shown on a webTV show hosted by Dave Navarro.
WARNING: This may be a bit disturbing. I performed the edit and
I still get freaked out watching it!

This is the first 6 minutes or so of the movie Shadow Beings, written and directed by Charles Bryan. I had gotten some complaints that this was "too" long. I decided to intermesh the title sequence with the first scene. This is the result. I'll do better next time.
Music by Guthrie Lowe.

This is an assembly from the several runs through the haunt. Since the edit was for the flow, the guests may change from shot to shot. One tricky bit was to maintain music continuity from the existing raw footage, there is one part where this wasn't possilbe yet which accented a comedy point in the dialogue.

A short documentation of one day at a local event in Woodland, CA. To capture this event properly I would need at least four other cameras and operators. Perhaps next year.
